Weight Loss: Part 2

Gaining weight usually goes hand in hand with feeling less active. Feeling less active can then lead to more weight gain. As this cycle takes over, a negative impact on your thoughts and beliefs usually begins. Breaking out of this cycle can be hard. Low self-esteem, low confidence, and a negative view of yourself can make change tough.

It seems like we are repeatedly told how losing weight is one of the hardest things you will ever do. Being constantly told about failed attempts can, subconsciously at least, can make it feel like its ok for the diet not to work this time, as there is always a next time…

Maybe it is not as tough as we are led to believe? Living an active life with healthy eating just needs to be the new habit. When this new healthy habit becomes the new cycle, it can be easier than you think.

You are stronger than you think. You really can do it. If you really want it.

That is not to say that there are not more complex issues. Of course, in these instances, a strong mind and a willingness to improve your lifestyle is not always enough.

But for most people, most of the time, a change in the thought process and an eagerness to reach your goals are enough.

That is where hypnotherapy can step in.
